Center for Seeds of Hope (CSOH) is a faith-based tax-exempt Non-Profit corporation under the 501 (c) (3) classification in the United States and affiliated with Word International Fellowship, Inc. It has been operating in the Philippines through the Center for Sowing Seeds of Hope (CSSOH) located in Makati City, Metro Manila.
Center for Sowing Seeds of Hope was incorporated in 2006 educating approximately 200 children and feeding approximately 3,000 children. It exists to help the most vulnerable people in Philippine society – the children. Through education and feeding programs, CSSOH aims to bring hope to these children by improving their chances for a brighter tomorrow.
Attending school is not a priority when families do not know where their next meal will come from. Families at the poverty level cannot put food on the table let alone pay tuition fees or buy required clothing and school supplies. Instead, children as young as five-years old care for younger siblings while their parents’ work; or children are sent out to work on the streets begging, selling, or scavenging.
CSOH works alongside churches to provide free Christian Education to hundreds of children in their Schools and Feeding Centers. It has built schools that serve the poor communities in the Philippines. CSSOH graduates are sought after by the Public Schools due to the graduates’ proficiency in reading, writing, speaking and math. More children are lined up to enter our schools and more schools are scheduled to open in the coming school year.
Our goal is to positively affect the welfare of the poor children of the Philippines and make it possible for them to live healthy, happy lives, nurtured with Christian values and beliefs.
Today, CSOH continues to serve communities in the Philippines, with schools from Pre-School to Kindergarten levels.
Our scholarship program provide financial assistance to students. Helping them pursue their education and achieve their dreams.
We organize educational workshop to equip students and their parents with valuable skills and knowledge, enhancing their learning experience and future prospects.
Through community outreach initiatives, we bring education to underprivileged areas, making meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve.
We offer opportunities for children from poverty-stricken families who exhibit aptitude & potential to excel in their studies to be supported by international & local donors to enjoy free basic Christian education.
Our various feeding stations exist because of the contributions of our affiliate churches around the world and the hard work of our faithful volunteers. This feeding program is also a values-formation program taught to the children.
Celebrating Christmas is to
inspire happiness as well as strengthen family bonds. We have an annual event called “Pamaskong Handog ni Jesus” (Christmas Gift from Jesus) participants also receive gifts and snacks during the event.
We provide continuing education or seminar training to our teachers and volunteer workers and upgrade school facilities and equipment to uphold the standard of excellence in education, health, and safety.
